We are searching for a commercially driven and analytically sharp Business Controller to join our Finance team. This role is crucial in supporting data-driven decision-making across our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) commercial concepts across 15 markets. With approximately 5 years of relevant experience, the ideal candidate will act as a financial partner to the commercial and marketing teams, providing insights, challenge, and proactive analysis to drive growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
As a Business Controller in NutraQ, you will have follow-up responsibility for your own Business Unit(s), be involved in developing financial management and processes, and will be a key support and business partner to the sales and marketing department as well as other functions across the group and will have broad exposure through various projects. We are looking for a business-oriented and commercial profile with strong analytical skillset who will contribute to growth and expansion to new markets. We are looking for candidates with a few years of experience, solid financial education, commercial drive, and who are eager to further develop their career in an exciting company. Key tasks and responsibility:
Financial Planning, Performance & Analysis (FP&A):
- Monthly financial reporting and forecasting to management and owners
- Assist the departments in financial and commercial analysis around e.g. price, gross margin, market campaigns, market access and payment solutions in new markets
- Develop, monitor, and update detailed commercial models (customer acquisition, retention, pricing, CLV, CPO etc., etc.)
- Analyze actual performance against budget, forecast, and key KPIs, and communicate variance explanations and recommendations
- Set up and improve dashboards and reporting tools for commercial metrics (sales performance, marketing efficiency, churn rates, etc.)
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in customer behavior, channel performance, and product profitability
Business Partnering:
- Support go-to-market strategies with financial modeling and ROI analysis (e.g., promotions, marketing campaigns, new product launches)
- Contribute to monthly Business Reviews and media planning with the commercial concepts
- Identify drivers, opportunities and contribute to increased efficiency and profitability
- Contribute to strategic projects such as international expansion, new platform launches, or new commercial initiatives
Qualifications:
- Higher degree within business and finance
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience from Business Controlling in commercial companies
- Good holistic understanding of economics and business
- Experience from direct sales model / subscription sales model is a plus
- Experience with analysis tools, solid Excel competence, Power BI and ERP systems
- Fluent in professional English, additional Scandinavian languages are a plus
